When do Bumbershoot tickets go on sale?

Each year, BumberFans have the opportunity to buy FIRST and get exclusive “Insider Deals,” which are always the best value. Only BumberFans have access, so sign up now to be the first (and only) to hear about Insider Deals!

Single-day tickets go on sale when the day-specific lineup is available, in early summer.

Who needs a ticket to Bumbershoot?

Anyone aged 11 and over will need a ticket to enter Seattle Center grounds during Bumbershoot. Accompanied children 10 and under do not need a ticket. Please note: if you are a Platinum or Gold Pass holder and wish to bring a child age 6 and above with you into Platinum and Gold areas, they will require a pass of their own due to the limited number of reserved seats. Children 5 and under will be asked to sit on the lap of the accompanying adult.

Where can I get Bumbershoot tickets in advance?

  • Advance tickets cost less than day-of-show prices. Day-of-show prices take effect on the first day of Bumbershoot.
  • Advance tickets always go on sale first at bumbershoot.org or by phone at 206.701.1482. A service charge will apply to tickets purchased online or by phone. Sign up to be a BumberFan to be notified first of ticket details.
  • The single-day ticket and 3-day pass will be sold at the advance price and without fees beginning TBD at the Next Fifty Gift Shop at Seattle Center, located between the Space Needle and the Monorail. Open 10 am – 8 pm daily. Advance sales end the day before Bumbershoot (Friday) and are cash only. No premium passes (Gold or Platinum) will be sold at the outlet. $1 from every ticket sold will benefit the Seattle Center Foundation.
  • Each year, BumberFans have the opportunity to buy early and get exclusive “Insider Deals” not available to the public. Insider Deal tickets are even cheaper than advance tickets! To learn about these exclusive discount ticket offers you have to be a BumberFan. Sign up now—it’s free!

Where can I buy tickets during the Festival?

You may buy general admission tickets online Saturday 9/1 – Monday 9/3 for the same price as tickets at the gate, but service fees will apply. Tickets purchased online during Bumbershoot weekend will be print-at-home only.

You may also buy tickets at Bumbershoot beginning at 10:30 AM each Festival day. The Festival box office will be selling tickets to all Festival days. Tickets will be sold at box offices located at the following two (2) gates:

  • Thomas Street (just south of EMP)
  • Mercer Street (between Bagley Wright and Intiman Theatres)

Platinum and Gold Passes will be sold at the Festival gates (no online sales), Saturday 9/1 – Monday 9/3, while supplies last.

What methods of payment are accepted at the Festival box office?

We accept cash, Visa or Mastercard. We DO NOT accept American Express, checks, money orders or foreign currency.

Do you offer discounted tickets for kids, seniors, or patrons with permanent disabilities?

Children 10 and under are admitted free with an accompanying adult, and may enter any venue, including the Mainstage. Tickets for seniors aged 65+ and patrons with permanent disabilities will be available at Festival gates at a 50% discount, or $25/day (government-issued ID required). Please note that this price is only for the patron with permanent disabilities, and is not available for companions or escorts.

Where can I pick up my Will Call tickets?

Will Call is located at the Festival entrance on Mercer Street, between the Intiman Theater and Exhibition Hall. Tickets and passes ordered for Will Call will be available for pick-up on Friday (the day BEFORE the Festival) between 11 AM and 7 PM, or during the Festival (Saturday through Monday) between 10:30 AM–9:30 PM

Where can I get a free pass for the comedy shows?

A limited quantity of free comedy passes are available each day at the Comedy Pass Distribution booth, located at TBA. One comedy pass per person/ticket, per day will be available, while supplies last.

Please note: special entrance privileges will be provided to Platinum Pass holders, who do not need to pick up a free comedy pass. Platinum Passes are available for purchase at bumbershoot.org prior to the Festival, while supplies last.

What if a performer I want to see cancels?

We will do our best to notify attendees of all changes and cancellations in advance, however all events are subject to change or cancellation at any time without notice. There are NO TICKET REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES, even in the event of an artist cancellation.

How do I get into the Mainstage?

Entrance into Mainstage shows no longer requires a separate pass. Admission is first-come, first-served, and subject to capacity. Lines for Mainstage performances will form 90 minutes before scheduled show times, and not earlier.
