Jobs
Year Round Staff
One Reel, producer of Bumbershoot, has 10-20 staff positions, depending on the time of year. Openings are posted at onereel.org/jobs. Also, check out our internships at onereel.org/internships. These unpaid learning experiences are a great way to explore event production as a career path.
Seasonal Production (sound, stage, lighting)
We contract with outside vendors to meet these staffing needs.
Seasonal Miscellaneous

Internships
One Reel internships are your chance to see what it’s really like to work on a large-scale public event! One Reel offers 10 internships meeting a variety of career interests. Our internships run from spring through September and are open to both students and non-students. We offer a comprehensive training program that includes multiple areas of focus in festivals management, one-on-one time with your mentor and team, and the chance to see it all come together at Bumbershoot.
Our interns are awesome—doing intensive projects with a direct impact on all our events. You’ll work hard and have a blast, learning real skills that you can directly apply to the real world. Interested? Check out onereel.org/internships.
Volunteering at Bumbershoot
Volunteers get to see Bumbershoot behind the scenes and do a great community service by helping us do bigger and better things. Volunteers can also earn tickets to the show, get an exclusive Volunteer T-shirt, and can put their hours toward meeting a community service requirement.
We accept volunteers of all ages, interests, and abilities. There are great volunteer opportunities in Production, Admissions, PR-Marketing, Programming, Hospitality… you name it. Shifts are posted to Shiftboard annually in the spring and summer, but register now so you’re the first to hear about them.
