Bumbershoot and ASL

At Bumbershoot, we do our best to accommodate every music fan. Every year, American Sign Language interpreters will be signing at select shows. They do a tremendous job as evidenced by the video above from the Black Eyed Peas’ performance of “My Humps” at Bumbershoot 2009.

The Indigo Girls at Bumbershoot ‘99

The Indigo Girls played Bumbershoot in 1999, right before the release of their seventh studio album, Come On Now Social. Amy Ray and Emily Saliers have been going strong as a duo since they first began performing together as the Indigo Girls in 1985.
