Fine Arts Poster Application

Festival Dates: August 31 – September 2, 2013

The Bumbershoot Fine Arts Poster is a limited-edition poster featuring work by a local artist. The poster features a reproduction of the artwork paired with a bit of elegant text (i.e. not the complete list of bands and sponsors) and is presented with the support of the Seattle Office of Arts and Cultural Affairs. Past artists have included Claes Oldenberg (1972), Jacob Lawrence (1976), Faye Jones (1982), Ginny Ruffner (1998), Dawn Cerny (2007), and Gregory Blackstock (2010).

The program—one of the longest-standing traditions at Bumbershoot—expands on our Visual Arts exhibitions, and honors both emerging and established members of the city’s Fine Arts community.
