A BIG Lineup for a Bigger. Better. Bumbershoot

What’s bigger news than Bumbershoot’s Mainstage returning to Memorial Stadium this year? How about the fact that we’re filling it with NINE diverse headliners?!

We’re excited to announce that hometown folk-rock stars The Head and the Heart, rising hip hop heroes J. Cole and ScHoolboy Q, pop hitmakers Foster the People and Capital Cities, long-term favorites Elvis Costello and Wu-Tang Clan, and reunited alt-rockers The Replacements will be gracing our Mainstage.

And those are just nine out of more than 100 musical acts performing at Seattle Center over Labor Day weekend. We’ve also got legendary funk-rock pioneer Bootsy Collins and “Last Soul Man” Bobby Womack; alt-pop darlings Neon Trees, Real Estate, and Poliça; indie-rock icons The Afghan Whigs, The Dream Syndicate, Luscious Jackson, and Nada Surf (making only their second U.S. appearance of 2014); Los Lobos, Big Freedia, Mac Demarco, Walk the Moon, Red Fang, and many, many more!

True to our roots, we’re offering a smorgasbord of top local talent, from headliners The Head and the Heart to the dulcet sounds of neo-soulsters Pickwick, the critically acclaimed folk-pop of Shelby Earl, groundbreaking hip hop duo Grayskul, psych-rockers Rose Windows, and hard-charging houligans Hobosexual and Sandrider. La Luz, Campfire OK, RA Scion, Sam Lachow, Tomo Nakayama, Iska Dhaaf, Tangerine, and Massy Ferguson also appear, among others.
