Hey, party people! If you’re one of those hardy individuals who asks “what’s next?” when the Mainstage closes its doors, we’ve got a brand new event for you — Bumbershoot After Dark! Curated by the fine folks at Decibel, this separately ticketed event will take over Exhibition Hall on Saturday and Sunday from 10pm until 4am, giving revelers the chance to catch some of the most exciting names in electronic music and a stage that uses state-of-the-art technology to truly mind-blowing effect.
Saturday night brings the bass, with DJ Craze (Miami), Claude Vonstroke (San Francisco), and Jokers of the Scene (Toronto). Come get an ear- and eyeful of frenetic, bottom-heavy, underground dance music spanning techno, electro, house and dubstep.
Go global with Sunday’s “Urbal Alchemy” show, which features DJ Z-Trip (Los Angeles), Four Tet (London), and DåM-FunK (Los Angeles). Deep and soulful underground dance music, spanning disco, house, hip-hop and funk will turn Ex Hall into a dance hall.

Tickets are $22 advance (no fees); $30 at the door (if available). Purchase Saturday 9/3 or Sunday 9/4.

If we buy tickets for the Decibel after hours party do we also need to buy Bumbershoot tickets for that day? I am not really interested in Sundays lineup but I would like to see Four Tet.

Great question, Cheeez. These are two completely separate events. A Bumbershoot regular admission ticket won’t get you in to Bumbershoot After Dark (10PM – 4AM), and a B.A.D. ticket won’t get you into Bumbershoot during regular hours (11AM – 10PM).
