Here’s something to tickle your funny bone!
While Bumbershoot gets the bulk of its attention due to its diverse musical offerings, it also boasts a similarly stellar arts lineup that includes theatre, dance, literature, visual arts—and, for the past 14 years, stages dedicated to comedy.
This year, the festival’s laugh-inducing programming stretches across three stages—including the 800+ seat Bagley Wright Theatre, offering festival-goers more opportunities to catch some of today’s best and brightest comedians. So whether they’re culled from Seattle’s backyard (courtesy of the People’s Republic of Komedy) or hand-picked by Comedy Central exec Lisa Leingang, there’s sure to be something that will make you crack a smile and quite possibly bust a gut.
You’ll enjoy Bumbershoot favorites like Doug Benson and Eugene Mirman; local legends John Keister and Blood Squad; rising stars of comedy Hari Kondabolu and The Gregory Brothers and so much more! Read more in our press release.
